How is this different to what is already out there?

For as long as there have been donations; there has been mistrust as to where that ‘money’ has really gone. Most social enterprises, charities and not-for-profit entities are well-intended but unwilling to share their books openly. All of our members have full access to view how every dollar is spent.
PURPOSE
With other entities, you can only choose to donate to causes that the organisation is backing. As a FORBYTO member, you can nominate causes that are close to your heart and watch them receive all the ‘good’ made possible by you and fellow members. Our long-term vision is to achieve impact on hundreds of purposes over a lifetime.
REWARDS
You provide your support to purposes via membership fees, we provide support to you via prizes.
NO BENEFICIARY
Most organisations that offer prizes ultimately are the beneficiary of that ‘draw’, in other words, you may win a reward, but they are getting rich in the process. We do not receive any monetary gain from operating this model, 100% of the funds remaining after costs are given away to the Purposes and You.
COSTS
Our aim is to keep the cost of running this organisation as low as possible such that maximum impact is made with the funds. We guarantee an operating cost structure of no more than 10% of the total funds received to sustain the impact. We then give back 100% of the funds received after costs.

Concentrated ‘giving’ has a higher probability of achieving larger impacts for the people and groups that need it the most. As we commence the impact members will make is in the form of monetary support/funding to the purposes they have chosen. Once our membership grows we have to the ability to achieve far greater impact directly through initiatives formulated by the FORBYTO group. We all must physically see the money we spend, tangibly create the impact we seek. This is our promise.
